2021 NHRA Summit ET Series
NHRA Blue Collar Brackets. Join us at Emerald Coast Dragway with your 2021 ET racing plans, our program is aimed at the local racer seeking an affordable family fun racing environment that you can rely on. Listed below are 7 points race dates which will also feature either SNRA Pro Mods or ECD No Mods. As of this document being published these dates do not conflict with any ET dates at Atmore Dragway, Powerhouse Dragway or Gulfport Dragway, giving our local racers a place to race almost every weekend all year long.
February 6 – Season Opener featuring ECD NO MODS
March 27th – Race 2 featuring ECD NO MODS
April 10th – Race 3 featuring SNRA PRO MODS
May 15th – Race 4 featuring ECD NO MODS
July 3rd – Freedom Fireworks & SNRA PRO MODS
August 28th – Race 6 featuring ECD NO MODS
September 25th – Season Finale featuring SNRA PRO MODS
Each race weekend will consist of a single points race on Saturday where each class will get a chance to make two time shots prior to first round of eliminations and buy backs will be first or second round as long as car count and time constraints allow.
Super Pro ET $75 entry, $35 buy backs, $1500 guaranteed minimum purse up to 31 cars, 32+ cars race for $2400
Pro ET $60 entry, $30 buy backs, $1200 guaranteed minimum purse up to 31 cars, 32+ cars race for $2000
Sportsman $50 entry, $25 buy backs, $500 guaranteed minimum purse up to 15 cars, 16+ cars race for $800
JR Dragster $40 entry, $20 buy backs, $400 guaranteed minimum purse up to 15 cars, 16+ cars race for $650
Payout purse structure will consist of a guaranteed minimum purse that you can count on racing for regardless if your car is the only one in the beams that day. Up to 16 cars will split the purse 70/30, 16-32 cars semi’s will get their entry fee back and remainder split 70/30, 32+ cars quarters will get their entry fee back while semi’s will get double their entry fee back and remainder split 70/30.
Any racer who enters a race in the 2021 Summit ET Series will automatically be enrolled into the points series. Champions will be crowned with championship jackets and 2022 ECD Gold Cards, we will also have plenty of trophies and big checks along the way as well as a chance at representing ECD at the 2020 NHRA Division 2 Summit ET Series Finals in October.
An entry is considered “in the race” if an appropriate tech card is turned in at tech inspection and the car has crossed the line into the burnout box, at this point & time show up points will be awarded and the entry fee will be added to the race day purse and can not be refunded.
