PRO MODS THIS SATURDAY – RACE INFO

Don’t miss your final chance of the year to see the fire breathing pro mods tear down the 660′ at over 200MPH in less than 4 seconds! This Saturday at Emerald Coast Dragway, the racing action will kick off around the time the sun sets behind the trees and we’ll strap these boys in and turn them loose.


TONIGHT, Friday night August 7th, there will be testing, open to everyone to enjoy and participate, we’ve got word that a few Pro Mod teams WILL BE testing tonight so if you can’t make the big show tomorrow, be there tonight to catch a preview, gates open at 5PM, track hot for testing 6-11PM, $15 at the gate unless you’re 12 & under then you come in free with a parent/guardian and if you want to put a hot rod on the track grab a $10 tech card at the gate as well.

TOMORROW, Saturday August 8th will be a slow afternoon as teams trickle in & get their pits setup, gates open up at 4PM for the general public and the track goes hot for racing action at 5PM. Weather permitting (pesky afternoon surprise thunderstorms), we’ll get an hour of open shakedowns in before Q1 at 6PM, Q2 by 7PM and opening ceremonies and first round of eliminations to go down the track no later than 8PM, we’ll have at least 4 rounds of eliminations and expect to be wrapped up by midnight.  Race day entry is $20/person unless you’re 12 & under then you come in free with a parent/guardian and drivers you’re gate entry is included with your race day tech card.

Track radio station is 97.9, tune in & turn it up, all pit spots and spectator parking spots are first come first serve, feel free to get there early and set it up so it’ll be there waiting for you when the sun goes down on race day.  We’ll have plenty of Nitrous for sale at the track as well as VP racing fuels, concessions stand will be open and we look forward to racing with you all.  See you soon! – Team ECD
